This week is going to be a HOT one! No, not the weather… The music and the fun. We start off the week with St. Patrick’s Day parties! For the best in Irish music and fun you can take your pick from Ann O’Malley’s Deli & Pub, The Barley Republic Irish Pub or Meehan’s Irish Pub. Check below for acts that are playing or check out their websites for more information.  We have a couple of festivals in the area, the Moody Blues are at the Amphitheatre and Marc Cohn is at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall.  And don’t forget, Sunday Funday is back with Reggae Sunday at the Conch House Marina & Restaurant. What more could you want? Well, maybe a nap after all of that fun!

Vilano Beach / Old Town St Augustine / The Island (Anastasia Island)

At the St Augustine Amphitheater and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall:

Saturday, March 22 – St. Augustine Amphitheater –  The Moody Blues –  The name legendary. The music timeless. In one night a lifetime of hits. “Question”, “Nights in White Satin”, “Tuesday Afternoon” & “Just a Singer in a Rock n’ Roll Band”… More than 30 years has elapsed since The Moody Blues entered the music scene. Without doubt, their innovative and ground-breaking album “Days of Future Passed” which was released in 1966, must be the one of the best classic-rock albums of all time. The album stayed on the Billboard charts for over two years and marked a milestone in rock history as one of the very first concept albums, recorded not only with a symphony orchestra but also in stereo, both uncharted territory at that time.     Gates 7:00 PM | Show starts @ 8:00PM

Sunday, March 23 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall –  Marc Cohn Duo – GRAMMY Award winning singer-songwriter Marc Cohn is one part masterful storyteller, one part brilliant tunesmith. Add to that mix the passion of a great soul man and you have the formula for one of the most beloved musicians in recent history. Cohn’s career skyrocketed in 1990 with the recording of his critically acclaimed debut album Marc Cohn, featuring such classic songs as “Walking In Memphis,” “Silver Thunderbird,” and the lovely “True Companion.” In 2007 he released his most successful album, Join the Parade featuring hit “Listening to Levon.” His latest, Listening Booth: 1970, features beautifully re-imagined classics from the great music of 1970. Cohn’s highly personal interpretations are warm, soulful, more than a little sexy and full of easy-going charm.   Doors 7:00 PM | Show starts @ 8:00PM
