At the St Augustine Amphitheater and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall:

Friday, June 06 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – Drive –By Truckers with Water Liars  – Boasting a mix of Southern pride, erudite lyrics, and a muscled three-guitar attack, Drive-By Truckers became one of the most well-respected alternative country-rock acts of the 2000s. Led by frontman Patterson Hood and featuring a rotating cast of Georgia and Alabama natives, the band celebrated the South while refusing to paint over its spotty past. History, folklore, politics, and character studies all shared equal space in the Truckers catalog, which offered up its first blast of gutsy, twangy rock with 1998’s Gangstabilly. English Oceans, the 12th release by Athens, Georgia’s Drive-By Truckers, is an elegantly balanced and deeply engaged new effort that finds the group refreshed and firing on all cylinders. All but one of the collection’s 13 new songs, written by singer-guitarists and co-founding members Patterson Hood and Mike Cooley, were recorded during 13 days of sessions in August 2013 with longtime producer David Barbe             Doors 7:00 PM | Show starts @ 8:00PM

Friday, June 06 – Saint Augustine Amphiteatre – Weezer with JEFF the Brotherhood  – Their debut album Weezer (aka “The Blue Album”), producer by Ric Ocasek, has been certified triple platinum in the United States, and remains the band’s all-time best seller. Upon completing the record, Weezer went on hiatus temporarily as Cuomo studied at Harvard. With help from the Spike Jonze-directed video, the single “Undone (The Sweater Song)” became a hit in the fall of 1994. But by the time the album’s final single, “Say It Ain’t So,” was released in the summer of 1995, the group had gone on hiatus once again, with Cuomo returning to Harvard. Make Believe appeared in May 2005 and eventually went platinum in multiple countries. The album gave Weezer their biggest charting album peak yet, hitting #1 in Canada and #2 in the U.S. Make Believe featured the band’s first two songs to top the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart, “Perfect Situation” and Top 10 single “Beverly Hills,” which earned the band their first Grammy nomination for Best Rock Song. Weezer jumped from Geffen to independent label Epitaph in 2010, debuting Hurley at #6 on the Billboard 200 to make it the band’s sixth top 10 album, as well as their sixth top 10 album in a row.                    Doors 6:00 PM | Show starts @ 7:30PM

Saturday, June 07 – Saint Augustine Amphiteatre – Boston  – Although Boston is still active playing and recording today, many listeners associate Boston with the music from their debut album. Ferreting out the origin of those songs, and that sound, explains how the “band” got its first recording contract in 1976. Why is “band” in quotes? Because only two people were actually signed by Epic Records to record the album, Tom Scholz and Brad Delp. Scholz and Delp together wrote all of the songs released on the first album, performed 89 percent of the tracks by overdubbing, and Scholz engineered and produced most of it in a studio he built in his basement. Scholz wrote the first song that would eventually bear the Boston name in 1969 while at MIT. The group released their sixth album, Love Life & Hope in December of 2013.     Doors 6:30 PM | Show starts @ 7:30PM

Sunday, June 08 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – Florida Chamber Music Project Presents ”Piazzolla & Dvorak”
Doors 2:00 PM | Show starts @ 3:00PM
