Live Music & Nightlife Schedule for June 17th – June 23rd 2014 in St Augustine FL

It’s my favorite week of the year!!! My birthday is this week. Let’s get this party started. I’m planning on being out and about all week with my buds and hope to run into you at one of my favorite places in town! There is a bunch going on. First off it’s the World Cup! My favorite watering hole for sports is Ann O’Malley’s Deli & Pub. Check below for all places with TVs & Beer. Thursday is the Goo Goo Dolls and Daughtry at the Saint Augustine Amphitheatre. Get your tickets for that one, it should be a rockin’ show.

The Committee will have you up and dancing at the Music by the Sea on Wednesday. Grab all the family and head out the Amphitheatre on Saturday for the Children’s Art Festival and Sunday for the first night of the Community First Night Owl Cinema showing of “Frozen.” Also this Thursday, Friday & Saturday you should head over to the Cathedral Basilica for the St. Augustine Music Festival where internationally renowned artists join musicians from the Jacksonville Orchestra for fantastic nights of music. Don’t forget… next week is the Downtown Bazaar at the Colonial Quarter. If you haven’t been there yet, you NEED to check it out.  Have a fantastic week! I know that I will. Cheers!

At the St Augustine Amphitheater and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall:

Thursday, June 19 – Saint Augustine Amphitheatre – Goo Goo Dolls & Daughtry with Plain White Ts – After more than two decades as a band, with nine albums, a catalog of songs that have become ingrained in the pop consciousness and countless concerts for millions of fans, the Goo Goo Dolls are feeling particularly good about their new album: Magnetic. “This album was really upbeat and fun,” says John Rzeznik, the trio’s primary singer, songwriter and guitarist since it was founded in Buffalo in 1986. “I don’t think we’ve made a record like this in a while. Just had a great time doing it.” Not to mention that recently three of the band’s songs placed in Billboard’s Top 100 of 1992-2012, with “Iris” standing at No. 1. That song has also connected with a new generation, as Dolls fan Taylor Swift has been performing it in her concerts. In the course of only five years, Chris Daughtry has had more than his share of career highlights. The singer, songwriter, and musician from North Carolina has released back-to-back No. 1 albums, the 4x-platinum DAUGHTRY (which became the fastest-selling rock debut in Soundscan history) and 2009’s platinum Leave This Town. DAUGHTRY has scored four No. 1 Top 40 hits (“It’s Not Over, “Home,” “Feels Like Tonight,” and “No Surprise”), earned four Grammy Award nominations (including “Best Rock Album” for DAUGHTRY), won four American Music Awards, and brought its electrifying live show to all corners of the world, including sold-out arenas in South Africa, Singapore, and The Philippines.               Gates 4:30 PM | Show starts @ 6:00PM
