The end of February is the time that Saint Augustine opens up all of the outdoor venues. There will be a mix of warm and cool days this week so get ready for some HOT tunes at some of your favorite venues in town. There is so much going on this week that you’ll just have to scroll down to find out what is the best of the best. This Friday is a fabulous night with Art Garfunkel – An Intimate Evening with Art Garfunkel – at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. There is so much more than music as well. The 29th Annual Cathedral Festival at the Mission of Nombre de Dios – 101 San Marco Ave all weekend with fun for everyone. Saturday is the authentic re-enactment – Searle’s Sack of St Augustine. 4:30pm starting at the Plaza and heading up St George Street. Saturday is also the Vilano Sunset Celebration with market vendors, live music and crafts at the Vilano Pier from 2pm til dusk.

Saturday, March 1 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – Iron & Wine SOLD OUT – Iron and Wine made its Nonesuch Records debut with Ghost on Ghost in the US on April 16. Ghost on Ghost is the fifth release from singer-songwriter Sam Beam, using the pen name Iron and Wine.
