Live Music & Nightlife Schedule for April 28th – May 4th 2014 in St Augustine FL

On Friday at the Municipal Marina you’ll be served Reverend Peyton’s Big Damn Band, The Rubies, The Wild Shiners and The Dunehoppers, all of which will be playing during First Friday Art Walk! You can’t ask for more… Or can you? On Saturday there is a huge lineup at the Amphitheater from 1:00pm – 10:30pm be sure to check their website for the entire list at http://www.gamblerogersfest.org The entire weekend’s events finishes on Sunday at the St. Augustine Beach Pier from noon to 7:00pm.
Also on Saturday you can check out the Sunset Celebration at Vilano Beach Town Center. Enjoy the spectacular sunset and the fun! Dozens of market vendors, live music and local arts and crafts can be found on the pier. Starts at 3pm.

Wednesday, April 30 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – M. Ward with Mount Moriah – a singer-songwriter and guitarist who rose to prominence in the Portland, Oregon music scene. In addition to his solo work, he is known as a member of She & Him and Monsters of Folk.  M. Ward developed his craft as a musician, singer and songwriter, releasing a series of critically lauded albums during the first decade of the 2000s, including End of Amnesia and Hold Time. In addition to his touring, he also formed the Grammy Award-nominated She & Him with actress Zooey Deschanel, with the duo releasing four albums as of mid-2013.                  7:00 PM | Show starts @ 8:00PM

Prokofiev  – Quartet No. 2

Mozart’s G Major Quartet, K. 387 was one of six quartets dedicated to Franz Joseph Haydn, generally thought to be the father of the string quartet form. Sergei Prokofiev based his second quartet on Kabardino -Balkar folk themes and rhythms.
