At the St Augustine Amphitheater and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall:
Friday, April 11 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – Blind Boys of Alabama with the WillowWacks – Formed in the late 1930s at the Alabama Institute for the Negro Blind in Talladega, the Blind Boys of Alabama has harmonized throughout the turbulent twentieth century and well into the twenty-first: from Jim Crow through Civil Rights and into the Obama era. They have, however, enjoyed some of their biggest and most rousing successes in the last ten years, during which they’ve won five Grammys, honored with GRAMMY Lifetime Achievement Award in 2009, four Gospel Music Awards, and multiple invitations to sing at the White House. Doors 7:00 PM | Show starts @ 8:00PM
Saturday, April 12 – Saint Augustine Amphitheatre – Dierks Bentley with Frankie Ballard and Brothers Osborne – Seven albums into one of country music’s most-respected and most-unpredictable careers, award-winning singer/songwriter Dierks Bentley continues to grow. Bentley has forged his own path in an industry built predominantly on formula. He has mixed elements of modern country, classic country, bluegrass and rock, maintaining an unmistakable identity while constantly reinventing his sound. Gates 5:30 PM | Show starts @ 6:30PM
Sunday, April 13 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – The Zombies with Special Guest Pat Sansone of Wilco & The Autumn Defense – Rod Argent and Colin Blunstone, two true stalwarts of classy English pop, have reunited after three decades under the moniker of their former outfit, The Zombies. Their reunion has been enthusiastically embraced by the public, thanks to a hot band, some superlative new material, and a stage repertoire that draws heavily upon their much-cherished catalogue of Zombies and solo hits. In their day, the Zombies were one of the few English bands of the 1960s that enjoyed true global popularity, with two American number ones, chart records throughout the rest of the world, and a deep and lasting affection for their music. The Zombies’ first two American singles, “She’s Not There” and “Tell Her No”, also remain two of the most-heavily spun vintage hits on American classic-rock radio.
