Live Music & Nightlife Schedule for June 24th – June 30th 2014 in St Augustine FL

imagesCAP9G9MCThere’s some great music in St. Augustine again this week.  Lots of Raggae in town. On Friday don’t miss Rebelution presenting their Count Me In tour at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Their CD “Courage to Grow” was selected as iTunes Editors Choice for Best Reggae Album, went to #4 on Billboard’s Reggae charts. Sounds like a great night! On Sunday, the weekly Reggae Sunday at the Conch House is featuring the 418 Band. Another Sunday Funday in the old city.

 

There are quite a few FREE music offerings this week. Music by the Sea Concert Series this week is featuring Motown with Amy Alissa & The Soul Operation and the Concert in the Plaza has Mid Life Crisis playing a variety of pop & rock classics. The St Augustine Music Festival has it’s final weekend this weekend at the Cathedral Basilica. More FIFA Soccer fun at quite a few bars. Find your favorite below.  Ponte Vedra Concert Hall has just announced some great upcoming concerts and the tickets go on sale THIS FRIDAY.  Johhnnyswim will be playing July 25. Ziggy Marley will be there October 19 and NBC’s Last Comic Standing Tour will be at the PVCH on October 31. Get your tickets this FRIDAY starting at 10:00am.

Wednesday, June 25 – Movies by the Bay  presented by Ripley’s St Augustine Attractions and the City of St. Augustine Municipal Marina.  Movies are located behind the Bayfront Mini Golf at the City Marina. This week is “Tangled (rated PG): The magically long-haired Rapunzel has spent her entire life in a tower, but now that a runaway thief has stumbled upon her, she is about to discover the world for the first time, and who she really is.    FREE

 

Sunday, June 29 –Community First Night Owl Cinema Series 2014 Gates open at 7:00pm and each movie will begin at 8:00pm. Tickets are not required, as the event is free and open to the public. There will not be a charge to park at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre.  This week’s movie is “The Little Mermaid.” (rated G): A mermaid princess makes a Faustian bargain with an unscrupulous sea-witch in order to meet a human prince on land.
