Live Music & Nightlife Schedule for December 2nd – 8th in St Augustine FL

Celebrating the Holidays in St Augustine is a great time to be sure. Not only do we have Nights of Lights, but this week is our kick off to the season. Saturday is the 60th annual St Augustine Christmas Parade at 10am. A wonderful time for the family to enjoy floats, marching bands, cars, horses, and the arrival of Santa. There is also the 40th Annual British Night Watch Grand Illumination Parade on Saturday evening. You are invited to join in this unique Public Participation Parade @ 8pm, where everyone is encouraged to join in and march behind the British Redcoats as they secure St. Augustine. The Parade shall conclude at Government House with Muskets firing Volleys of Joy, followed by Christmas Caroling in the Plaza.

What else is going on, you ask? Well…. we have Wednesday is FREE admission from 6 to 9 p.m. at the St Augustine Lighthouse during Luminary Night! The celebration takes place amidst the flickering glow of over 1,500 luminaries spread through the light station grounds. Friday is First Friday Art Walk and Saturday is the First Saturday Sunset Celebration at Vilano Beach Town Center. Bethany Groves is the entertainement with vendors, crafts, raffles and more. Plus… Caroling at the Pier and the awards for the Dressing of the Palms. The Limelight Theatre will stage “Miracle on 34th Street The Musical” on the Matuza Main Stage Dec. 5, 2014 through Jan. 4, 2015. Don’t miss Daryl Hall and John Oates at the Amphitheatre on Saturday and to top it all off is the Gamble Rogers Festival is at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall this weekend. There are just a couple more things for you to do this weekend.  I’ll see you around town!!!

Saturday, December 6 – St. Augustine Amphitheatre – Daryl Hall & John Oates with Mutlu – 2014 was a big year for Daryl Hall and John Oates, as they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Starting out as two devoted disciples of earlier soul greats, Daryl Hall & John Oates are soul survivors in their own right. From the mid-’70s to the mid-’80s, the duo would score six #1 singles, including Rich Girl (also #1 R&B), Kiss on My List, Private Eyes, I Can’t Go For That (No Can Do) (also #1 R&B), Maneater and Out of Touch from their six consecutive multi-platinum albums—’76’s Bigger Than Both of Us, ’80’s Voices, ’81’s Private Eyes, ‘82’s H2O, ‘83’s Rock N Soul, Part I and ‘84’s Big Bam Boom. Saturday, December 6 – Ponte Vedra Concert Hall – The 1st Annual Gamble Rogers Fest at Ponte Vedra – The First Annual Gamble Rogers Fest at Ponte Vedra will feature food trucks, art booths, musical memorabilia, a raffle for a variety of must-have treasures and a stunning lineup of live music. Among the acts that will perform are Michael Jordan, The Rubies, Sam Pacetti, Carlos and Carlos, Flagship Romance, Wild Shiners, The Willowwacks, Amy Hendrickson and closing out the bill, the phenomenal threesome originally from the Florida Panhandle but currently wowing audiences in and around Charlottesville, VA – The Currys.           Doors 12:30PM | Starts 1:30PM
